Children and Family Worker (part-time 15 hours per week)
Parish of Ravenshead, Nottinghamshire
Are you passionate about Christian ministry with children and their families?
Do you have experience of exploring the Christian faith with children
in a church or school context?
St. Peter’s Church, Ravenshead is growing its work among families and would like to appoint a worker to enhance this work through this new and exciting role. Our annual holiday club reached record attendance for us last summer. Our new monthly Children and Family service is significant for a small but committed group of families. Our brand new worshipping community in the woods area of our church school hopes to reach worshippers of all ages. We’d like to do so much more!
If you joined our small but enthusiastic team you would have the opportunity to help us develop and grow these activities, as well as bring your own ideas and insights. You would be involved in running a variety of fun activities and events, leading worship and developing children’s discipleship, both in church and within the community.
We are open to tailoring the job to suit your skill set and circumstances, including job share arrangements and this post might suit someone training for a qualification alongside the role.
